IIP The fast growing team at Propona includes the 3 directors of the company:
Kevin Crampton - Edward Pearson - Chris Sully




Kevin Crampton

Kevin's primary role in the company is as lead developer and the vast majority of his time is spent writing code to specifications and Propona's best practice.

Kevin has a degree in Physics (BSc).
Kevin has worked as a software developer for over ten years in a variety of industries around the world but concentrating on database and dynamic web site development.

Before joining Propona his most recent projects included a tool for managing commercial pilot training centres in fifteen countries and an employee web database for a top 5 consultancy firm.

Kevin holds the professional qualifications of Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Edward Pearson

Edward is the lead project manager at Propona taking overall responsibility for all client facing and project management duties. This includes all aspects of the project lifecycle from the initial lead/ tender process right through to delivery of the finished application and ongoing support.

Before joining Propona Edward worked as the project manager for a software company specialising in software for the television industry. As a result Edward was involved in the development, deployment and installation of computer systems for television shows including “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and “Brainiest” in over 16 countries worldwide. Before concentrating solely on project management Edward worked as a web application developer.

Edward has degrees in Law and Computing.

Edward holds the professional qualifications of Microsoft Small Business Specialist (MSBS) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and is a Prince2:2009 Practitioner.


Chris Sully

Chris' primary role in the company is as technical lead engaging in the following activities:

  • defining development best practice
  • researching products and technologies
  • engaging in business and requirements analysis with clients and subsequently architecting and developing solution specifications
  • managing the development activities of more junior members of the team

Chris has degrees in Computer Science (BSc), Cognitive Science (MSc) and Computer Science (PhD - data analysis using Artificial Neural Networks).

Before becoming technical director of Propona in 2003 Chris worked with a top 5 consultancy firm in London for 2 years. There he was the technical architect/ senior web developer (using Microsoft technologies) of global intranet solutions and was involved in all phases of the project lifecycle. Previously, Chris was the lead web developer of the external facing web site design and development team of a global telecoms company and was based in Cardiff.

Chris holds the professional qualifications of Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). He has been an MCP for over 10 years.
