Extension of an employee timesheet system for the NHS
Project Description
This project involved extending and developing a business-critical employee timesheet system for the Surrey Health Authority (NHS), with full support for flexitime, leave booking and reading employee work times automatically from door logs and window's logins. The completed system included extensive management tools to approve/deny leave, review and change employee profiles and manage people at team and department level. Propona were called in during the last four weeks of this project to extend the system, document it fully and advise on the best testing approach.
The project was delivered within budget and quicker than the tight timescales set and was prepared for use across the whole NHS Trust. Subsequently Propona built an automated system to connect to an internet web service every morning and ensure that the trust’s database of opticians was up to date.
